The Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary in Rajasthan is a diverse habitat for various wildlife, including endangered species. It's known for its leopards, wolves, and sloth bears, but also hosts numerous other animals like jungle cats, hyenas, jackals, sambar deer, and various antelopes. The sanctuary also boasts a rich birdlife, with over 200 species. 

  • Leopards: Leopards are a notable resident of the sanctuary, and it's known as a place to see these big cats in a scenic setting. 
  • Wolves: Wolves are also found in the sanctuary. 
  • Sloth Bears: Sloth bears are another prominent species in the sanctuary. 
  • Other Animals: Jungle cats, hyenas, jackals, sambar deer, nilgai, chausingha (four-horned antelope), and chinkara (Indian gazelle) are also present. 
  • Birdlife: The sanctuary is home to over 200 bird species. 
  • Endangered Species: The sanctuary is a crucial area for the conservation of endangered species.
